As a Dominican-American, woman-owned brand, it's roots are deeply tied to the vibrant culture of the Bronx, NY and Aviane’s Dominican heritage. Her upbringing, rich in design and music, inspired her to blend both passions into a unique vision. From managing a boutique in Soho to running a Wall Street recording studio, her journey has always been about breaking boundaries and exploring creativity. Teaching herself to sew and embracing her family's legacy in fashion, Aviane launched OHARA with a mission to empower others through design.
